Andy and Naomi

I had a great time shooting the wedding of Naomi and Andy on Sunday at Park Farm Hotel, Hethersett.  The weather played along (eventually) but the quick falling autumn light (the ceremony was at 4pm) was a reall challenge, I think we pulled it off though!  I have to say a big ‘thank you’ to Jez for his assistance too, it would have been a whole lot harder without him there!

Here are a few pictures:

More busy times this week: I’m shooting at Mulberrybush day nursery on Thursday, followed by a private session on Sunday.  I’ll probably have some photo opportunities on Halloween too as we’re having a little party at the house!

Cheers,

Paul

My boys

I managed to coerce my camera weary off-spring to pose for a few more shots today and I’m very happy with the results.  Have a look at a couple and decide for youself!

Getting organised!

There are lots of things going on, unfortunately very little of it photographic!  I do have a new camera and lens to play with and have managed to take it out for a run today; hopefully I’ll have some ‘proper’ shots to show tomorrow.  We took the kids out geocaching this afternoon, it was a super location and only a couple of miles from our door - I’m constantly amazed by the amount of undiscovered gems that we come across doing this!

Anyway, organising stuff!  It looks like the Christmas rush is starting; I’ve booked 4 sessions this week and have firmed up plans to shoot at Mulberrybush day nursery and at the Children in Need charity event at the Forum next month.  I’m shooting a wedding at Park Farm next weekend too, it’s all go!

Beach Days…

We took Max to Cromer this afternoon as a way of distracting him from the fact that Sam was off at a Beaver sleepover.  The weather was lovely and the light was great, Max had a wonderful time digging and paddling -yes, in October! - and I snapped a few portraits for good measure.

It strikes me that this kind of thing could produce some really nice portraits for anyone - it’s a great way to keep the kids occupied and affords the opportunity to catch them at their most natural.  If anyone reads this and is interested in giving it a try with me, get in touch and we’ll organise something!

Anyway, enough chat - here are the pictures:

Teething troubles…

Just a quick geek post!  For some inexplicable reason I had put this new site live without checking how it looked in Internet Explorer - that’s at least 70% of the browsing public, pretty stupid on my part!  So imagine my alarm this morning when I was showing a colleague, only to dicsover that the header logo was being corrupted in IE! Argh!  I’ve spent this lunchtime using the excellent Firefox add-in Firebug to debug the style sheet that drive the site and find out what was causing IE to mess up.  Hopefully it should be working correctly now.

I’ve also spotted a problem with the About Me page and the Tiltviewer Flickr page.  I’ll see what I can do with them tonight!

PS: Get Firefox - it’s so much nicer than IE! ;o)
